Sunday

We have two very grown up, very cute kids. It looks as though Paisley is no longer a toddler but a little lady. Jarom is a very handsome boy in his cute Sunday clothes!

Hot Date

The other day Nicole and I went visiting teaching and Jarom and Maddie had a good time in the backseat together. They are so cute and will be great friends when they start to realize the other is there!

Paying for the Bishop

This morning as we were doing our chores and getting ready to do our weekly grocery shopping at Walmart, Paisley grabbed her money from her room. She came over to me and said "I want to buy the diego drinks at Walmart." (She LOVES the yogurt Diego drinks. We bought them a couple times a while back and then went on a budget, and they break the budget because of how expensive they are.) She still has some money from the family reunion and I think it is nice that is what she wants to spend her money. After she told me she wanted to buy Diego drinks with her money I said "Well put on of those dollars back on your dresser because you haven't paid your tithing yet." So she went to her room and put one back and Jason asked her "Paisley, what is tithing for?" She responded "To pay the Bishop?" (I have been talking to her about tithing telling her you hand it to the Bishop, and she must have been confused!) What makes this even funnier is that our new bishop is her best friend's Dad. Can't wait to tell them why Paisley was going to pay her tithing! She's a cutie!

2 Months

These past two months have flown by, but at the same time it seems like we have had Jarom forever. He is such a sweet little boy. He loves to watch his big sister dance. He loves to try and sing along when you sing to him. He is very smiley (although he has his fair share of crying time). We are working on him becoming a better sleeper. He is also a big traveler like Paisley was. He has been to 6 states in his short life! We love you Jarom!

Epiphone

Last night as we weren't sleeping at all because of a crying baby boy, it hit me! The reason that boys don't tend to cry much as they get older is because when they were babies they cried enough for a lifetime! The reason girls tend to not stop crying when they hit puberty is because they didn't cry much as babies. At least in my case, this is what is ringing true.

A New Kind of Wednesday Night Activity

Now that Jason has been released from the Young Men's Presidency he now has Wednesday nights open. It is so nice to not dread being left on Wednesday's now. So instead of mutual yesterday we went for a picnic dinner and to feed the fish at a pond nearby. Jarom slept throught all the fun. It was a blast!! We love having Daddy home on Wednesday nights!

FYI we both have new callings. We are the activities committee co-chairs. Jason is the ward music chairman and I am the Sunday bulletin person (3 third time for me!)

Family Reunion Review

We had a blast last week being in Nauvoo with my family. It was fun to see most of my family members and hang out in a special place. Paisley LOVED being with her cousins. Nauvoo was so fun. It had TONS of things to do. We didn't get to everything because having a nursing baby takes time. We did most things though. Going to the Nauvoo temple was amazing. It was beautiful. We also have the opportunity to bless Jarom in Nauvoo with a lot of family. Jason's parents flew out to be there for the special occassion. It was awesome. I'm so glad that he will have that as part of his heritage. Enjoy this small sampling of the reunion.
